Thomas Whitcomb is an actor/singer/dancer originally calling Danville, Indiana his home. He was first introduced to film and theatre by his mother, who always had a video cassette playing on the TV. He fell in love with the art form, watching everything from an epic Steven Spielberg adventure movie to a Rodgers & Hammerstein musical classic. Sparked by his love of these films, he participated in his first community theatre production when he was 8. And that was only the beginning!
Thomas went on to perform in productions all around Central Indiana. He spent most of his time acting in musicals and plays throughout the area. He continued to cultivate his love for his craft by studying with various teachers and studios. It was during this time that Thomas decided he wanted to spend his life performing. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. While studying there, he worked with many experienced faculty as well as industry professionals who consistently pushed him to learn as much as he could about the craft. He studied the many facets of theatre, and found a particular interest film/TV. He spent his final year working with professionals in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles as he participated in Ball State's Senior Showcases.
Thomas has worked with professional companies around the country. Over the past few years, he has spent time with both amusement parks and regional theaters. He recently began working with Silver Mass Entertainment, a theatrical agency based out of Los Angeles, CA. He is so excited to be working with them, and is looking forward to moving to the West Coast and hitting the ground running. All of these experiences have gotten Thomas ready and excited to leap into the professional world.
