Thomas Whitcomb is a singer/dancer/actor/accompanist originally calling Danville, Indiana his home. He was first introduced to theatre by his mother, who always had a Rodger’s & Hammerstein classic playing on the television. Sparked by his love of these old-classic films, he participated in his first community theatre production when he was 8. And that was only the beginning!

Thomas went on to perform in productions around Central Indiana. Various credits in the Indy area  include: Billy Elliot the Musical (Bobdirex), CATSJesus Christ SuperstarThe Who’s Tommy (Footlite Musicals), Oklahoma!Grease (Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre). He continued to cultivate his love for his craft by studying with various teachers and studios such as Dance Workshop, Performer’s Edge, The Biz Academy of Musical Theatre, DePauw University, and Plainfield High School’s Drama and Choir Department.

Thomas recently finished his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. While studying there, he worked with experienced faculty as well as industry professionals such as Sutton Foster and Emmy Award-winning musical director Michael Rafter. His educational credits include: A Chorus LineAmerican IdiotGypsy, Reals, and Crazy for You. He also participated in all three of Ball State's Chicago, New York, and LA Theatrical Showcases. 

Thomas has also worked professionally over last few years all over the country. Some credits include: Hairspray at The Legacy Theatre, Mysterio: Magic Rocks the Night at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari, and Finding the Fickle Fortune at Pickleville Playhouse. He currently is spending his summer in Sandusky, Ohio performing as a singer/dancer at Cedar Point Theme Park. 

Thomas recently began working with The Krasny Office, a theatrical agency based out of New York. He is so excited to be working with them, and is looking forward to moving to the big city and hit the ground running. 

 

All of these experiences have gotten Thomas ready and excited to leap into the professional world. He hopes to travel the world- performing and spreading theatre wherever he goes!
